About
I am an associate licensed mental health therapist with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Washington State University and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree from Seattle University. I am dedicated to providing a safe and inclusive space for all individuals to explore their personal journeys. I am a Level 1 & 2 Gottman trained couple’s therapist, and I specialize in working with first-generation immigrants, couples, individuals, and teens 16+, as well as those affected by systemic oppression. My approach to therapy centers around the belief that therapy is a space for self-discovery, growth, and healing. I strive to create an environment where clients can explore the different ways they define themselves and face the challenges they have experienced in a supportive and non-judgmental way. As a Muslim Black woman, I believe that the characteristics you hold are an essential part of your journey in shaping the person you are today and the person you aspire to be. My ultimate goal is to provide a safe and compassionate space for my clients to gain a better understanding of themselves, their experiences, and how those experiences have shaped them. In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, friends, and my beloved tuxedo cat. I also have a passion for exploring new cultures through traveling and trying new cuisines. When I am not in the office, you might find me experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen or venturing out for a hike in nature. These hobbies not only provide me with a sense of balance but also remind me of the importance of self-care and enjoying life outside of work.

About
Hello, my name is Mohamed Ege, and I am a mental health therapist dedicated to helping individuals explore their experiences, strengthen their sense of self, and move toward healing and personal growth. My approach focuses on creating a space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. I grew up in SeaTac, Washington, a diverse community that shaped my appreciation for belonging, cultural humility, and ultimately led me to pursue psychology. Since the age of twelve, I experienced mistreatment because of the color of my skin, which often left me feeling isolated and misunderstood. With the support of my mother, who reminded me of my worth and strength, I began a journey of self understanding and healing that continues to guide my work today. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington Tacoma in 2023 and my Master of Arts in Psychology from Seattle University in 2025 through the Existential Phenomenology program. During my graduate training, I completed my clinical internship at Sunrise Services, where I provided counseling to adults and gained valuable experience working with diverse mental health needs in the community.

My approach focuses on creating a supportive and structured space where children feel comfortable, understood, and motivated to learn. Working with children and youth has always been a passion of mine. These experiences strengthened my commitment to helping children develop practical skills that support long-term growth and independence. I believe that meaningful progress happens when therapy is individualized to each child’s needs. My work focuses on identifying the underlying functions of behavior and teaching practical replacement skills that help chidlren navigate challenges more successfully. I also collaborate closly with families, caregivers, and educaors to ensure strategies are consisten across home, school, and community settings. Through structured behavioral support and compassionate guidance, I help children develop greater independence, improve social interactions, and build skills that support long-term success.
