Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for free therapeutic services, clients must meet the following criteria:

Age

  • Between the ages of 8-20 years old

Income

  • At or below the 200% Federal Poverty Level (FPL)

Community Eligibility

  • Must identify as East African, or be an immigrant or refugee

Sliding-Scale Application

We are committed to making mental health services accessible to everyone in our community. For clients who may not be able to afford the full cost of therapy, we offer a sliding fee scale that provides reduced session fees based on household income and financial need. Clients interested in reduced-cost services may complete our Financial Assistance Application, available on our website (see below). Documentation of income may be requested to determine eligibility and appropriate fee adjustments.

Our team will work with you to help identify the most affordable option for receiving care.

Our Commitment

We believe mental health care should be accessible to everyone, regardless of financial status or immigration journey. Our program is designed to remove barriers to care and support the well-being of youth, adults, and families in our community.

*Disclaimer

This program is offered in partnership with Voices of Tomorrow, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting immigrant and refugee families through culturally responsive programs, community support, and resource navigation. Voices of Tomorrow received funding through the Pacific Hospital Preservation & Development Authority (PHPDA) Health Equity Fund, which supports initiatives that expand access to healthcare services for underserved communities. Through this funding, Voices of Tomorrow partnered with our agency and other qualified providers to help increase access to culturally responsive mental health services for individuals and families in the community.
